ABOUT THE ARTIST My designs merge the ancient with the modern, combining fabrication/metalsmithing, wireworking, and metal clay techniques, and reflecting my admiration of craftsmanship and ingenuity. I am intrigued by the way the most ancient jewelry techniques remain useful but can also be reconceived; the way that a thousands-year-old Roman necklace can be mistaken for a contemporary piece. I work in sterling, fine silver, and gold, and my designs incorporate semi-precious and precious stone and bead accents, as well as copper.
